Small team, real ownership
We are a small team shipping a desktop app on two platforms, a Chrome extension, a web workspace and the API behind them. You will own features end to end rather than a narrow slice of one.
Hard problems, in the open
Live audio capture with speaker labels, answers drafted from a memory that must show its sources, job capture at a human pace, and Gmail and calendar sync that has to be right every time. The constraints here are genuine, not incidental.
Privacy is a constraint, not a slogan
Everything Codexa keeps about a person is visible to them, carries its source, and goes when they delete the profile. That shapes the architecture, and we would rather solve a harder problem than relax it.
Remote and asynchronous
We work across time zones and write things down. Deep work beats meetings, and we plan around that.

How Hiring Works
Apply by email. We read applications ourselves and reply either way. If there's a fit, expect an intro conversation, a practical exercise close to work you'd actually do, and a conversation with the team — no whiteboard trivia.
You can opt in to text updates to get interview scheduling and status changes by SMS instead of waiting on email. It's entirely optional and never affects your application.
